Question about Motorola Mobility MOTORIZR Z3 Cellular Phone
On previous phones, I have been able to use sounds recorded by my phone (such as my voice) as alerts and ringtones. So far, I have not been able to do so with this phone. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I just went into sounds. clicked on the voice note and hit Options, and Apply As > ringtone. Worked awesome for me. I also have a Z3 :)

Some phones will not let you set voice notes as a ringtone. If you get Motorola Phone tools, (available through motorolas website for download about $30.00) it has a ringtone creater that you could use to create a ringtone from a recording.
It also is syncronization software that will allow you to transfer files and back up your contacts.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
