There must have been a problem with the drivers you have just installed, or there is a corrupt windows file on your system, you should try reinstalling the system without reformating it with the use of a Bootable Windows XP Home Disk, you should make your CD/DVD Drive to boot from your system by configuring your bios on your boot priority.
When you are on the WIndows XP setup screen press enter, accept the license agreement, and it will check if you have existing windows partiotion, press R to repair the Partition, wait for it to finish, then your system comes back to normal.
Or another way is to boot into Safe Mode, in order to check if there are driver conflicts or corrupted files on your Windows system. Press F8 to go a menu where you can select to boot from Safe Mode.

OUCH... Might need a new harddrive or motherboard. Does it even let you go into the bios? Maybe you can do a full reinstall to save you the dough.

2. I have preinstaled Windows Home. I do have a label with the key number on the bottom, but do not have CD with Windows which I can use. Do you know any place I can download it? As I said I do have legal OS, do have Product Key, but not have CD I can use.
