Digikey.com and Mouser.com have encoders.

Their online catalog should help you find a replacement. Analyze how many detents it has AND the circuit board layout and number of pins.

DO NOT be surprised if you have to shorten the shaft to match the original one.

I have a problem with a Digitech Vocalist Live 3, see below for details

It's possible that the Harmony foot switch has become damaged or faulty. One thing you could try is to unplug the pedal from power, disconnect the footswitch from the unit, and then reconnect it to see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't work, it could be a more serious issue that requires repair or replacement of the footswitch. You may want to try contacting Digitech customer support to see if they have any troubleshooting suggestions or if they can provide guidance on where to find a service agent in your area.

My harmonizer powers up but does nothing else, and there's no display.

I hope that I'm wrong but my Boss GT-6 pedal went south on a firmware update and is now a door-stop. Good luck.

The digitech vocalist live 2 ,the left side button(reverb, enhancer) , activates the right side (harmony) LED's on the circuit board itself are lit up and nothing happens. t

The buttons are probably scanned as a matrix and possibly a circuit board has been cracked causing wrong data to go to the microprocessor in it. It is unlikely this will be a DIY fix so you should contact Digitech for a repair facility.

Vocalist Live 4

U.S and Canada: 20 VAC, 60 Hz Adapter: PS093B-20
Japan: 00 VAC, 50/60 Hz Adapter: PS093B-00
Europe: 230 VAC, 50 Hz Adapter: PS093B-230
UK: 240 VAC, 50 Hz Adapter: PS093B-240

Power adapter requirement straight from the user manual. I am sure you are aware that a simple plug adapter in a tourist shop does nothing to convert 120v US to 240v AUS. Note you unit does not like temperatures above 40C. And you can get that in Australia.

Bear in mind the timezone difference if you try Digitech support in the US.

My digitech looper phrase sampler will not turn on

A common problem is that somebody has paired the WRONG power adapter to this unit.

The REQUIRED adapter should be 9VAC (not DC) at 1300ma or 1.3 amps.

Note that UNIVERSAL replacement adapters will NOT work with the Vocalist.

Vocalist live 2 problem. power to unit OK , lights up. Guitar output OK. No tuner, no vocal output.

NO power light or audio from Digitech Vocalist 2 live. Check that your power adapter is for 9 Volts AC (not DC like most pedals) and is rated at 1300ma or more. A DC adapter MAY light up the unit but not make it pass audio. Lights can be lit but that is NOT an indication thaat correct power is applied. They likely use the AC input to generate both positive and negative voltage within the unit. The use of a DC adapter will prevent generating one of these required voltages and prevent audio from passing.

I was using my digitech vocalist live 2 pedal during a gig 3 days ago and about 2 songs in, everytime i touched any part of the pedal or pressed the harmony on/off switch to activate the harmonys, the...

Yeah I have an idea... It is likely static electric discharge. At this time of the year we get zapped touching metal things and it also drives electronics nuts... You don't even have to feel it to get zapped.

Try using in your bare feet and see if it fusses... We had a lady vocalist wearing those ugg boots and caused static pops in her microphone... anyway try the test and if it fixes the problem, then look up Staticide spray... You can get it at Amazon.com for example... spray floor in the area you are playing on to kill the static.

The only other thing is to check if wiggling the power input plug causes the problem. Those plugs are notorious for poor connections when they wear.
