Can't use the small CD to lownload.

You should contact Delstar directly at:

Delstar Electronics
1060 N.W. 1st Court
Hallandale, Fl 33009
Phone: 954-458-7771
Email: delstarswc@aol.com

Their website's download (delstar.net) section is empty so I can't tell you to get it off the net.

What you could do is find a computer that can read the small CD and copy it to a regular sized CD.

I would be very Thank you.

My delstar mp3 player model DS3512

If it only gets as far as starting, the unit’s firmware is corrupt.
Firmware updates are not usually recommended.
I’d contact Delstar for the correct firmware.

MP3 Program..

If it's for the DS31024 Mp3 player. You'll only need it you have windows 98. There are some basic tools included but, if you just want to listen to your mp3 it should work. If you still feel you need the tools here's a link to them.

One works good, the other one doesn't.

so much for identical :-) sound like you're doing everything correctly. try a quicker release of the play/pause.

shut down will occur when play/pause key has been held down.
