My wii point icons jumps around

My wii controlers jump on screen to the point of barely being able to play a game. Just trying to choose a player ect is difficult. I've checked the sensor bar plug, changed remote batteries, moved the sensor bar possition, even tried playing in total darkness to avoid light contamination. Help!!

I have recalibrated a couple of times to no avail. My son says they now offer a device that you plug on the end of your controler that will fix the problem. However you can't use it and then fit the controler in any holding devise, like the steering wheel. Also if nintendo knows this is an issue, and makes a corrective device it should be free since it corrects a problem with their unit.

Have you tried changing the sensitivity undersettings on the wii itself.

take a look at the link it will tell you how

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/systemSettings.jsp

also if you are to far away from the sensor it will jump.

the addon is called wii motion plus and its the same across the board about it jumping about. just more on others. you wouldnt need to use it with a racing game anyway. you say you have recalibrated but have you turned down the sensitivity.

While playing any game on Wii Sport Resort: my 2 controllers seem to be synced ok, I re-synced several times. Both controllers work fine at menu levels. But after choosing a game, number 2 controller...

I had this problem and it was down to be, me plugging the motion plus into the wrong controller.
I have one control with intergrated motion plus and the other uses a plug on motion plus. I accidently plugged the plug on one into the already intergrated control leaving the one control with nothing. Hence that control could not be recognised.
Hope this helps

My controller only works part time. The hand icon on the screen jumps around and I have no control over it. I have re synced many times and this does not help. What next?

This problem can be caused by a number of things.
* Try replacing your battry's. * Unplug the sensor on top off your screen and plug it back in. * Make sure the sensor on top off your screen in balanced properly. * Make sure your sensor is not too far away from your controll.
Any further problems please feel free to contact me.

"pointer is jumping all over the screen"

Make sure there are no obstructions in the way of the Sensor Bar. Or try replacing the batteries on you Wii Remote.

What do you do when the character gets stuck behind a crate or rock? The character starts shaking and won't move forward. I can jump up and sit on the edge of the box, but as soon as I try to move he falls...

As of most games out there today, when getting stuck behind a object is most of the time a glitch or have to do a preset of commands, like jump, croch to get over a object. If that doesn really work, then I would advise going from a save point. As I never played the game, but being a experiance Game Tester, I am sure there is a way to get around it.

Wii remote moves the wrong way on screen.

If it only does it during Call of Duty then go into the options menu in the call of duty game and go to the controller settings. and there should be a "invert aim" or something along those lines in there that you can turn on and off....you want to have it off in order to have it go right to right and left to left. That sounds like your problem it probably got accidentally flipped on.

On multiplayer it sais every one is on the same team.

Can't remember off the top of my head but I think there is an option to choose how many players (including cpu) will be playing. You might have it set to 2. Go through the steps to setup your game and see if there might be an option to increase the number of players. You might think the number of players are referring to human players but it could be for ALL players. the game won't allow you to play 4 players with only 2 controllers anyway so try that out.

The cursor jumps around the screen

Reposition your Wii so when you play you aren't pointing the controller toward a bright light (like a window or lamp). Bright lights freak out the controller. I have a huge window in the room with the Wii, and I have to wait until mid morning on sunny days or it's almost impossible to control.
