Hey,

if you can transfer pictures, there are connection ;)
so to move movies, you might only need to use 'my computer' to find you camera location, find the directory with movies and copy to you harddrive.

it works in my olympus camera, try it out;)

wish you the best /michael

Are using the kodak software to transfer? your default maybe microsoft and doesn't recognise the video. go to windows explorer - my computer. in there (with the camera hooked up and powered up. cancel download. in my computer you should see the camera on the left as a drive/storage device ect. double click and you will see your photos and videos. select all (control/a) and copy to your hard drive in your favorite spot. Don't forget to back up photos to cd/dvd as hard copys! just incase :)
you mayneed to reinstall the kodak software to do it in auto.

I am having a problem transfering pictures from my Kodak EasyShare C1013 camera to the computer.........any suggestions, it will transfer a few but not all the pictures. Thank You

The easiest and fastest way to transfer pictures/videos from your camera is by removing the SD card from your camera and insert it into a SD card reader. You can buy card readers at any computer stores at cheap prices. You insert the SD card into a card reader and then you insert the card reader into a free USB slot on your computer and then you can copy ALL your files then wherever you want.

Thanks for using Fixya!

I can't hear any sound off my camera videos

Hello,

The Nikon Coolpix 4600 does not record any audio with the video.
This is surprising and not very useful.

The Coolpix 5600 does and the 4600 uses the same body, that is why it has microphone holes on the top.

No audio when transfering video to computer

Try a different application to view the video.

I use VLC for all of my videos, found here:

Transfering video clips?

Make sure you're using a program that recognizes video files. iPhoto, for example, doesn't. iMovie does.
