Avery Ink Jet Magnetic Sheets - 3270

Although the Avery magnetic paper I am trying to use says it is designed for ink jet printers (HP included) the magnetic paper will not feed through my my HP Photosmart C5180 printer. If I put one sheet in, it just kicks it on through and prints my project on regular paper. If I put two magnetic sheets in it says it's out of paper. I've never had problems printing anything before. This is frustrating, especially since the package says and I quote "It's Easy! ...
Guaranteed to feed easily through Cannon, Epson, HP and other ink jet printers." It also says it works with Word.. Uhh, not for me it doesn't. Avery 3270 is not one of the built in Avery templates in Word. I tried to find a template from Avery to download online, but while the searchable Avery site recognizes 3270 as "Magnet Paper," it says it has no template to download. I think I need some help, cause I be stuck!

It worked fine for us on an Epson. We printed about 40 sheets fed one at a time. Do not stack the sheets in the feed hopper, they stick together because of the magnetism.

There is no template because the material is not die cut. It is just full 8.5x11" sheet size.

Changing ink cart

Every HP printer I've ever had worked like this:

1. Treat the top of the printer like a lid. Just lift it up to open it.
2. When the ink cartridges slide front and center for you, pinch the front where the tabs are and they click out.
3. Put the new cartridge in how the old one was and push down on the tab to click it into place.
4. Close the lid and let it do it's thing! :)

I'm trying to print the cd label on the label paper but it's offset and won't print in the right area. I calibrated the printer but it still won't work.

Some CD label software allow you to adjust the "overprint" by resizing the image you are printing. If your software doesn't allow you to size your image larger than the label (so it overlaps) try a different program. Look for a setting that allows it to over print. It's not an exact just have to try to make the adjustments you need. There are also different CD/DVD label sheet types where the labels are setup on the sheet differently. maybe a different setup may work better. However, usually Avery is pretty good.

Double-sided wizard & instructions keep printing

we have printmaster 12. I vaguely recall it had problems with WinXHome multi user. It seems like the application was developed years ago. We had the same problem double sided with our color laser, never seemed to have this problem with our old inkje, but I'm guessing it doesn't like to re-do the settings. So I just printed the outside-only, flipped the paper over, and printed the inside-only. Just a few more clicks then the old method. Hope this helps.

I'm using DesignPro to make Avery mailing labels on my Mac, but it only starts with one page and I need multiple pages. How do you add pages?

After you tell the program to print, you will be queued for the number of labels or sheets of labels you want to print.

Avery laser addressing labels l7160

What software are you using? I use Microsoft Word to print my Avery labels, and quite often have to tweak their templates by simply adjusting my margins on the page. I do a 'select all' and then add one tenth of an inch at a time until the proof sheet looks just right. If the labels are a bit off, you can also adjust the pitch in the label options dialoge.
