If you are just using windows explorer (my computer) to access the files on the player you might need to set your players usb mode to "MSC", if it is set to "MTP" then you will need to access the mp3 players files via a music management software like winamp or wmp.

With a desktop computer and the USB cable you can transfer music to your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player. Simply hook the USB cable up to an available USB port and begin dragging music files to the folders of your SanDisk MP3 player1 Free a USB port on your desktop computer. Now, grab the USB cable for your SanDisk Sansa MP3 player and connect the player to your computer. 2 Wait for your computer to find and recognize the player. This may take a few moments. Once you receive a confirmation message, open your computer and scan the icons for the SanDisk MP3 player. 3 Open the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player on your computer. The music files that you currently have saved to the player's memory are displayed. 4 Open a folder containing music files that is stored in your desktop computer's memory. Scan the files for songs that you want to transfer to the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player. 5 Left-click on a song file and drag to the SanDisk Sansa window. After installation connect your sansa...... Also make sure you are connected to a 2.0 usb the back of the computer is best (the motherboard)....
mode located on the sansa if asked to change to MSC goto menu press
enter scroll to settings press enter scroll to usb mode press enter
scroll to msc press enter press menu.....Connect should auto start sansa

1. First, you have songs saving in your computer.
2. You have 2 ways to put music on the Sandisk Sansa Clip:
2.1. Plug device into computer, Drag and Drop music from your computer into "Music" folder of the Sandisk Sansa Clip.
2.2. Use Windows Media Player in your computer to transfer songs to your device; Plug device to computer, open Windows Media Player, click on Sync tab, drag and drop music into "Drag items here " on the right side of the windows media player, click on Start Sync button.
Even on a Macbook pro, you should be able to access your "my computer" option, where it shows you the local disk drives and everything. your mp3 player icon should appear there. then after you click on the icon it should bring up a page containing folders "on" your mp3 player. there doesnt have to be any music or videos or anything like that to have the folders already on there. now i dont have a mac but what i suggested you to do should work.
1. plug in Sansa to computer 2. Open My computer 3. Click on your Sansa 3. Click MUSIC 4. Delete the songs you dont want on it...if that folder is empty make sure you have windows showing all the hidden files...
use windows media player and go to sync and put songs there..hope that help..
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go into 'Limewire', select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'Sansa e200' and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your Sansa e200 folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/Sansa] Music.
You can delete them thru My Computer.
Double click on the Sansa (m200), inside you will see a Music Folder. Inside is your individual tracks, separated by album names.
You can add or delete all music from here.
