Question about HP Photosmart E317 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Two simultaneous problems

I need to move my images from my camera to my disk. I've done this before on the menu but I've got another problem, my screen is cracked and completely white. So, I need for someone to help me out and describe in great detail what buttons to press to make that happen.

Why not just plug the camera directly into your computer using the USB cable and copy the pictures off that way? If you are trying to copy pictures from the camera's built-in memory, just make sure you remove the add-on memory card first.

Camera does not show in import section of 2.5 photosmart

Try Menu -> Setup Menu -> USB Configuration.

I treat my camera as a Disk Drive so the files show up in
File Explorer and open in IrfanView or can be moved to my
hard drive.

If neither the Camera or Disk Drive option for USB config
work, get a card reader and transfer the images that way.
Using a card reader is the preferred method for digital SLRs
where larger files from larger capacity cards are being dealt
with.
