Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
Had tv about 7 yrs, past month or so had hour glass effect when turned on, went back to normal after tv warmed up for several minutes. Now there is no picture when turned on but still has sound - I noticed several different responses for possible solution," main voltage regulator, hv section regulator, deflection circuit such as capacitor, resistor, or transistor. Can someone help me out. Thanks!
Was the hour glass upright or sideways? From what you described I would say you have a pin-cushion problem. Let me know if you need any additional info.
