Question about Heating & Cooling
I bought a brand new Mr Heater MH75KT multi-fuel space heater, filled it with #2 diesel, and it will not burn. Igniter is throwing a good spark, fuel is flowing thorugh the nozzle, but no fire. If I press my finger over the vent nozzle the flame starts but as soon as I remove my finger from the vent the flame goes out and then the heater shuts off with the LED doing 6 flashes for no flame sensed. How does one make this heater burn diesel>
If the MH75KT is the correct model, then it is a Kerosene only heater. Fuels, like oil and diesel all have different ignition points.
See page 3 of the manual.
