if you manage to change the keypad most probably the condenser MIC inside the phone been misaligned. try to check if the condeser MIC is properly sitted on it's original place and if you do have a multi tester you might as well check the resistance of the condenser MIC. the nromal resistance for condeser MIC is 500ohms and some are 60 omhs.
that is wierd - you can try the first solution to have it flashed, but 30% that's the answer, somehow your lcd probably burnt out so a simple replacement is required - it would cost about $30-40 for the lcd and the installation
which v262 phone do you have? if it does not say v2622 on the side of the box under the upc. it might have been the model that was recalled.
you should check into that. you might get a new version the the phone which is suposed to be great.
other than that. in some motorola phones you have to push down and slide out.
others you have a little silver sliding lock the you just push to the side.
