MDP-1030 Problem - Flashing Green LED Power Light

When I plug the unit in, with or without the battery, The Green LED Flashes on and off.

On for about .25 sec, off for about .75 sec - consistent.

Won't play anything, screen will not come on

Ihave a Mdp 1070 and from what I have learned is that the Co. has gone out of business for obvious reasons. Fortunately I brought mine at Costco so its going back. But youmight want to try and play a music cd all way through to recalibrate the heads. Dunno if this makes sense but i tried it and it worked for a day then went back to its blank self. The batteries have been recalled due to over heating and exploding so might want to exchange it with whom you brought it from.

I have a mintek MDP 1030 DVD player and lost the instructions. How do you recharge it?

You should have a power cable that plugs into the "AC" jack on the side of the unit. Plug the other end of the cable into the wall.

Battery light flashes 4times orange then 1green

We had the same problem. I figured out it was NOT the main battery, but the auxilary battery. The batter life WITH the auxiliary was 68% total, when I removed the 2nd battery the battery life shot back up to 98% AND the flashing orange / red lights were gone (both on the power source and off). I then replaced the auxiliary battery with a spar back up to make SURE that it was not a fluke and with the new backup battery firmly in place the lights still did not flash. Problem solved.
