Question about Toshiba 9.6 Volt 2.8 Amp NiCad Main Battery (P000166070) Projector Lamp

2 Answers

Toshiba computer I have an older Toshiba I bought back in 2000 that I've updated it up for a friend to use, it was running fine until she took it home with her, now when I try to turn it on I get nothing, could it be the power supply? I'm working on a very low budget and I'm trying to fix it for her. I do appreciate any help I can get. Thanks Felicia

Bleeding brakes on a 1994 chevy s10

Keep checking that the fluid level in the master cylinder is topped off.
Break loose the bleeder at the farthest away wheel (right rear) just so you know you can open it.
1) Have someone pump the pedal to obtain pressure.
2) Open the bleeder a bit and allow fluid to run into container (use hose if available).
3) close bleeder and repeat until no bubbles in fluid.
Left rear is next, then front right, then front left.
Your assistant should not release pedal until you close the bleeder!!

I have a 72 inch toshiba flat screen tv when turning it on the green light flashes it comes on then go right back off

I have researched the owners manual and it states to recheck the lamp door and make sure the lamp is seated properly and that the door is closed tight. I can email you the manual if you do not have one. Lawrence Brown

If any of the following conditions exist, turn off the TV, unplug the power cord, and repeat steps 1-9 to ensure that the lamp unit and lamp unit door are installed correctly:
• No picture • Dark picture • TV will not turn on
If, after repeating steps 1-9, the problem still exists:
• In the U.S., call TACP consumer solutions at 1-800-631-3811.
• In Canada, locate the nearest Toshiba authorized service depot by directing your web browser to; click "Home Entertainment," and then click "Support."

No Power to my CD RW device

Disconnect the power to the computer and ground yourself by touching the outside of the case at a screw. Open & remove the cover on the side of your computer and take a look at the back of the CD drive.
There should be two sets of cables attached to the back of the drive. One is a wide flat cable that attachs to the mother board. The other is a smaller set of 3-5 wires with usually a white or clear plastic connector that comes from the power supply (the box in back with a fan inside it). This latter is the power to the drive. Make sure it is firmly connected. If it's loose, seat it firmly. If it's not loose, check to see that the wide flat cable is seated firmly at both ends.
If these connections seem to be intact, you could try disconnecting them, then rebooting the computer, then shut down, unplug again and after grounding yourself, reconnect them. This will trigger the plug and play in xp to detect the cd drive and attempt to install it anew. If it works, you'll see a balloon window near the notification area that says new hardware found, shortly after you boot up and log into windows (with an administrator account).
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest that the drive itself may have died. You could probably install a new one yourself, but if you're uncomfortable with that, take it to a local shop and they'll be happy to sell you a used or new cd drive to fit your needs.
I hope this answers your question. If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to follow up. And in any case, let us know how this sorts itself out.

InFocus LP725 light goes out after 10 minutes

The Projector will turn off after so many hours of running the same bulb module. The counter will turn on a replace bulb LED. Installing the new bulb module should reset the counter and turn off the LED.

Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected
in the lamp module. Make sure by removing it and reinserting it.

Check the cables for problems.

When testing, power up in this order. Projector, Computer monitor, Computer.

A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Turn the
projector off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

I hope these suggestions help
