Presidian dvd/vcr combo pdc-3286

VCR doesn't really work, lines look like you want to do "tracking" but no "tracking" on the remote. Ideas on how to fix?

There's no tracking adjustment on the player or it's included remote. This is the first time that I've used it as it was just taken out of the box. Can the tracking be adjusted?

We have a vcr/dvd, model dvp620vr/07, we are having probs recording our pics onto a dvd and having the recorder play it, our computer will, why not the vcr/dvd recorder, what kind of disc do we need to...

What program or software are you using to make the DVD? The DVD must be "finalized" before it can be read on an external device, such as a VCR/DVD player. PC's however, can handle the un-finalized (is that a word?) discs because it assumes you may want to add more files (pictures). Once the disc is finalized, no more files can be added to it.

Burn dvd from vhs

i'm assuming you have a vcr to play your vhs tapes, just plug your audio/video cord from your vcr(out), plug into the audio/video vc10(in), start playing vcr and press rec botton whenever you want to start to record. make sure you can only use dvd+r. choose the quality for the length of time, at the end press 'function' to finalize the disc, then you are done.

I purchased this RCA 8310 about 2 years ago. I have recoreded hundreds of dvd's. If I try to use anything but a Imation brand DVD+R, 8+ speed, I get the same error. It will not work with a 16+ dvd.

DVD Recorder/VCR combo shuts down during DVD recording

If the device is still under warranty then it is worth calling and getting a repair/replacement. If not, then go with the new unit. it sounds like the one you have was not a very good unit to begin with. make sure you read the consumer reports on new available units before buying, so as to avoid buying another lemon.

Sounds like an issue with the contact behind the button on the drive. How old is the drive? Replacements are cheap these days.
