Hi everybody, I have an AIWA AV-D58 receiver, and I can't turn it on, the ECO LED is lighting, but the reset procedures I've read before, doesn't help to turn it on. Any other solution? Br., CsDombi
I have the aiwa av-s17 and i am experiencing the same problem, i need a little more details on the location of these parts. Pictures will be helpful as well being that different models parts may look a little different.I have the aiwa av-s17 and i am experiencing the same problem, i need a little more details on the location of these parts. Would like to know, how did you get it to work? where is the circuit exactly located? Thanks!Would like to know, how did you get it to work? where is the circuit exactly located? Thanks!

When turning it on hold the enter key at the same time to reset the machine back to the factory settings...worked for me when I had that exact problem.
Have someone check your house wiring to see if the live and neutral are reversed.
Beyond that - you may have some leaky capacitors. If you're tech savvy, open up the unit and see if any of the electrolytic capacitors are bulging at the top or leaking at the bottom, and if so, unsolder and replace them. This is actually the most likely issue.
If I remember this model correctly, there is only 1 direct input. The remainder of the inputs are bufferred through a switching IC. It is likely that this IC is defective. Are there any other symptoms at all?
if the receiver is on, you can press the "Eco" Button and then, you have to rotate the "Multi-Joy" in the next 3 seconds to change Eco-Mode to Off. When you selected it, you have to confirm with enter.
this happened with mine two. all i did was press powert and enter at the same time and it clicked for like 2 hours or so and then it turned on. it was cool
funny how that 1 solution isnt helpful in any way what so ever....
