Hey there berguiza1, the usb ports you have are an older generation. It is not possible to change them. However I suggest you get a USB 2.0 card and install in your computer via the PCI slot. They are quite inexpensive and easy to install. Also if you are using the usb ports on the front of your case, you may find the ports in the rear are 2.0. depending on the age of your motherboard.
