Cannot play dvd

when dvd is inserted, message comes up "this type of disc cannot be played, insert a different disc." Unit has been playing these same discs before.

- Tried this, it didn't work. I even opened up unit and made sure the lens was clean, Any other suggestions?

hy
try to clean the reading lense with a special brush cleaning cd.
youll find it computer stores.
most of the cases it works
