Cant get sound from speakers (by 2 users)

hi i have a samsung tx 72 (theatre)& samsung t4671f (LCD). The main problem is I get no sound when i switch to satellite. It does work when DVD is operated.

Im using a direct tv non-HD sat-box, which is connected to the tv with the RCA plugs& S-video cable. When I switched to this set-up, I have sound which is LOUDER from only the TV..

Any Help Would Be Apreciated,

when i play dvd the speaker on the system work but when dvd stops cant get sound

connect a 2 rca - 2rca cable from your tv monitor audio output to the audio in TV of the your Receiver it will shure to solve your problem.

That is because you didn't have the audio input connection right.
1. HDMI cable going from the Samsung tx72 output to Your Samsung TV HDMI input 2.
2. Non HD directv box Left and right audio output should be connected directly to the Samsung DVD receiver under Satellite input.Select"Satellite"for the sound from your Samsung tx72.You are good to go!
