I am running a lot of cables from my computer to my TV, which is on the other side of the room, so instead of running cables across the middle of the room, I am running it under my house. The trouble is I don't want to drill a bunch of holes in my floor for each cable, not to mention the ends are larger then the cords and I don't want to have big holes for DVI cables in the floor. So I am trying to think of some way that I can cut just one larger hole that I can open and close around the cables, like some kind of port of something. I want to cut this on each side of the room so that I can add or remove cables as needed. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

They sell cable snappers that work with pretty much any type of cable and any size that can make the cables longer so you can more adequately hide them. You could wrap and tape/clamp them up as flat and together as possible and then just use a cover or something. I've used rugs and have bought longer cables and just extended them under furniture or made covers for the cables. I think that if you cut into your floor (assuming it's a wooden floor) you would have major trouble creating a hole big enough to extend all below the ground up to the point where you needed the other hole. It seems like more trouble than just covering up the cables. Good Luck!

Is any displayport have in Intel D865GBF Motherboard

Yes

It has a VGA port for a VGA monitor. The port is BLUE in color, NOT PURPLE.

This is an example of a VGA Cable, and a VGA connector,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector

Note the number of socket holes, and the arrangement of the socket holes.

There are 5 socket holes across the Top row.
There are 5 socket holes across the Middle row.
There are 5 socket holes across the Bottom row.

The Purple connector with 5 socket holes across the Top row, and 4 socket holes across the Bottom row, is NOT it.
Not the VGA connector.

You can connect a CRT type of monitor, (Looks like a small TV), or a flat LCD screen monitor, IF it has a VGA cable.

[ There is also an adapter that you can plug a flat LCD screen monitor into, and the other side of the adapter plugs into the VGA port, on the back of your computer.

This is if the flat LCD screen monitor has a DVI cable,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface

DVI to VGA adapter,

1) http://www.directron.com/dvitovga.html

2) http://www.directron.com/dviadapter.html

Look at the pins on the adapters. Now look at your monitor cable, and the VGA port on the computer. Make sure which adapter you need ]

Moved tv to another room turns on but cant get pic from sat

Hey there, this is Cheri Torres with DISH Network customerservice. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could be of someassistance. I do have few questions about your system that would help me togive you a better answer on what you will need to do to resolve this issue. Iwould first like to know what type of DISH Network receiver you have; youshould be able to find the model number on the front left side of your receiverbox. Is the type of receiver you have a dual receiver (plays two TVs from onereceiver)? Did you also move the receiver into a different room along with yourTV? If you are working with TV1 (the TV that is in the same room as yourreceiver) you are going to want to make sure your TV is either on channel 3 or4, or that it needs to be on a input (i.e. video 1, video 2, input 3 etc.). Youcan usually determine this by checking which type of cables you have. If youhave coax cables (black cable with silver end that you can screw into the TV)the TV will need to be set to channel 3/4. If the cables are RCA cables (yellow, white and red) or a HDMI cable (black cable with thin end) the TV will need tobe set on an input. For TV2 the second TV off of your receiver which should neverbe in the same room as the receiver the channel should be set for either 60 or73. I hope you find this information useful and if you are able to answer thequestions I would be able to help you a lot more with this issue. Feel free topost back here with a response or you can also email me [email protected]. :)

Need detailed how-to--but only for replacing rear 3 plugs on V6 hyundai sonata 2001. There are lots things connected to intake manifold, which cannot be lifted high enough to prop it high enough to place...

I just did this today. This is how I did it and by no means I am a professional. You will find two 12 mm black bolts along with 3 12 mm zinc bolts on top of manifold these need to be taken out. Next on the left hand backside you will see a ground wire that needs disconnect. Right by this connection you will see another 12mm black bolt on the back side this bolts need taken out. there are two more of these bolts going across the back that holds a wire harness as well as the intake manifold. Next, I took of the flex pipe from air filter and disconnected the wire harness (gray and black) I believe go the air flow meter. this will help you get to the left side back bolt. the middle back bolt is right under the trottle cable brackets. I moved my cables being carefully not to move the 12 mm nuts to much. Next I took the bracket off which gave me room to get to the bolt. The manifold should be free to move now. be carefull and gentle when moving to look for any connection that might impede moving the manifold to the right side(brake fluid tank side) this will give you enough room to change all three plugs. Took me a couple of hours to do.

Pay tv cable

you may bypass the box by using a straight connector, find the cable that lead to the TV room and connect it to the cable from the aerial antenna.

Two black lines across middle of screen.

The flat screen is made of a matrix of elements connected to cables along the side and top. On your unit, some of these many, tiny connections are making contact intermittantly thus losing the elements in that area. These contacts are held in place with just pressure and if that is disturbed, you lose that line of elements. Try squeezing the cabinet of the TV on the outside at the top in the area of the loss and see if that makes a difference. May have to go inside and see if the contact assembly is disturbed or warped or something.
Hope ya fix it!
