There is a fuse inside the chassis that can be accessed by removing the 4 side screws and the 6 back screws on the chassis cover. First unplug the unit then remove the 6 screws securing the cover to the shassis. Once the screws are removed lift the rear of the cover about 10 to 15 degrees and pull to the rear. The chassis cover will then come off. NOTE: There is a large capacitor inside the chassis that will stil have a charge. Make sure to avoid it when reaching inside the unit. Follow the power cord from where it enters the chassis to the end terminals. One of them will terminate at the fuse holder. Remove the fuse, obtain a new fuse of equal value amd intall same. Plug the unit in to see if you get some from of power be it a light inside or the contral panel lighting up. If it is just the fuse and you see signs of the unit having power once again unplug the unit and re-install the chassis cover.. Make sure that the cover interlocks on the front of the chassis properly. All mating surfaces should appear flush. Re-install the 6 screws and retun the unit to service. If nothing happens please reply to this post.

Take the cover off. Make sure you unplug it. You will see the fuse close to where the wire goes in. Replace and but back together.

Whirlpool accuwave oven & hood totally quit

I don't know about the fuse on the stove but check and see if its still plugged in and make sure that the wiring is sound and then go to the breaker box and see if the breaker is tripped. And Most electric appliances have a safety fuse somewhere.

Above the stove micrwave blows fuse when hitting the start button.

There is a component in the High Voltage section that is shorted. Either the capacitor, diode, transformer or the mag. Dangerous area to work in if not trained in proper precautions.

MY KENMORE 1000 WATT LITERALLY WORKED FINE ONE MINUTE THEN NOTHING THE NEXT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED.

Most likely the circuit breaker tripped or the fuse blew. A 1000 watt microwave is using 2/3 of the power available on a typical household circuit of 1500 watts. If anything else is plugged into that circuit u can have a problem. Just reset the breaker or replace the fuse and u will be up and running. if it happens alot you should consider a dedicated circuit for your microwave only.

The fuse keep burned every day I do replace the fuse, what is the wrong with my Kenmore micrwave 565.61589011 model. Thank you

Chances are that you have a common connection with another plug. Microwave, Fridge etc.. Even if it's not the same plug it's still "In line" meaning that both outlets are on the same breaker. A: Find another outlet to plug your Microwave into or B: Put a surge protector in between the Microwave and the outlet.

Pop pop Kenmore hood microwave 665.60652 - year 2002

hmmmm, i wonder if you have a gear or something similiar to this going out. (turn tables)

If not, something tells me you have a component that is arching inside of your micrwave. I would call someone to double check to make sure it is ok.

You will be surprised at how many people wait until it is too late to service their units, when it goes out, it is gone.

good luck

No power from Whirlpool.

IF YOU HAVE THE MICRWAVE PLUGGED IN AND THE CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPS IMMEDIATELY WHEN SET,
CHECK THE DOOR HOOKS THAT TRIP THE DOOR SWITCHES. BOTH SHOULD BE SPRING LOADED. THERE SHOULD BE TWO HOOKS ON THE DOOR. IF O.K., CHECK THE DOOR SWITCHES. THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE. IF ONE OF THEM IS SHORTED CLOSED,
THE MONITOR SWITCH WILL CAUSE A DEAD SHORT ACROSS THE FUSE. THE FUSE MAY BE HOLDING BETTER THAN YOUR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
