Required Audio Hardware for movie maker

Hi there! it's my first time to use windows movie maker...i've installed the program on my pc but i'm seeing a "Required Audio Hardware" not found message avery time i'll try ta open it...is there a free software download for that (which I can just get from the internet) please help :) thanks much! ^_^

    I have the same problem. Trying so hard to get Panasonic VDR-D105. Why are things so difficult. I have plugged camera into USB port, in playback mode and have driver. Driver won't install because I get error code 071. Then I try to get Windows media player to work but get error saying I need an Audio driver. So I click on your links to find audio driver and there is so much to read it is impossible to figure out what is what. I just want to download an audio driver for Windows XP, Dell computer, FREE, for windows media player. Why is it so hard to get this camera to work on my PC?

Is your platform Windows XP,are you using M/S Office 2003?
If yes,then download new Realtek AC '97 Audio drivers from the above site.
If you have a Motherboard CD,re-install Audio drivers.

If you computer has a in built audio card(most computers do)you have to type your computer name and number in google and say audio driver free download...

The same thing happened to me; I reinstalled my sound card driver and then it worked. Hope that helps.

Re: Windows Movie Maker. When drop n drag picture is brought to the timeline, OK. But, when music is added to the Audio line, the system shuts down with a message: Windows Movie Maker has stopped working....
It is possible that the movie maker is unable to do that task assigned because of the size of the video and audio file. can you try a small file first and see if they will work. a short video and audio clip less than a min. should do

Hi i need help here!! ok so i went and installed the program but when i try to import it to windows movie maker it says: "The file C:\Users\Charlene\Desktop\SetupShaderTFX.msi cannot be imported...
If it says to restart, then restart the computer. If that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling the program again. Sometimes installers can be corrupted.

Hello Friend, The problem is that the windows is not genuie. if it is genuie it will work properly and nothing will affect it from opening. But the windows is geniue try reinstalling it again and see if it will say that again. Please vote me.

Windows movie maker required audio hardware now
your windows installed needs a driver for your audio hardware. you need to know what type of motherboard you have (model and brand). go to the brand site and go to the support and driver downloads page and find the model of your motherboard. you can download the audio driver for it. if you have a hard time just feedback on me, i'll help you.

I re-installed windows xp professional OS on my HP pavilion dv1000 and whenever I try to play a cd, it tells me that Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound...
Even though you installed windows you may not have installed the drivers required for the sound card. These are available here


You should also download any other drivers that may be required while you are there.

Check by going to CONTROL PANEL / SYSTEM / HARDWARE.

If there are any items in the hardware list with an exclamation mark the get the drivers for that too as you need to make sure your hardware is 100% working before you do much else.
