Problem for Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer

Canon Pixma ip1000 does not print Grayscale and other colours

mm... My printer is just installed back in my computer with the same driver I downloaded on the internet. My OS is Ubuntu Linux and when I print... It only prints Yellow, Cyan/Blue and Green. It will not print in any other colours including black..... Please help me=)?

- I have the same problem... I thought it was just because my black ink tank was empty so I bought a new one but still it won't print in black. I tried deep cleaning a few times but still won't print until the new ink tanks I bought became empty. What am I supposed to do?- odree366

Hi , try to nozzle check if lucking of colors appear need head cleaning twice it depend how color are present during test print.

- Hi, click the printer icon at the right side below of the desktop ,double click icon it will appear select nozzle check after printing you can view the result of color pattern ,then proceed to head cleaning , the same way click printer icon and select head cleaning.
