is flashing the standby light red then green continously when switched on at wall socket. Fault occured after a popping noise when I switched it on in the evening. I always keep my set switched off at the wall socket and is plugged into an antisurge adapter. Has anyone got any ideas ??

- The light blinks 11 times, red then green. there is no sound or picture. I have had the set off for 12 hours and tried it again but still the same blinking lights.
Thanks

Sounds like a power supply problem. How many times does the light blink? The times that the light blinks could possibly tell you around what circuit is having a problem.
