G-drive media problem

I inserted an empty 700 MB Compact disc, but I can't burn any music using windows media player or nero. I can't even use this CD for data purposes. If I click on the CD Drive(G:), it displays please insert a disc into drive(G:). Please help.

I have the same problem.

install the drivers for the drive, right click my computer choose manage and then disc manage choose the g drive, right click on it and change the drive letter to w and it will work.
