gwl 11 has leaked fairly consistently since i got it. it was a gimme from a relative and i ignored the problem for too long. it mostly leaked during the spin cycle until yesterday. it leaked over nite and when my companion went to use the machine today, it just shut off after filling for 1-3 minutes. afraid the leak got worse and shorted some electrical part on the bottom of the drum. please help.

I just replaced my Fisher Paykel washer after only four years of use. It was leaking, and apparently shorted something out. It was smoking and I could smell something electrical burning. It's history. What a disappontment!!

The pump is most likely leaking, if you need a part check with your dealer or email me and I can ship it out.

Tasciugo dehumidifer about 10 years old has started to leak. I have cleaned filter and spout water drips from is there anything else I should do. ?

Drips from where?
Find the source of the drip and seal it with rubber or waterproof tape.
If there is no pressure at the leak, this should cure it.
If you have trouble locating the leak, dry off everything and operate the
dehumidifier while you watch for the appearance of the moisture. Where
it first appears is probably the leaking location.

My washer is not thoroughly spin drying the clothes. I have to run it through 2 or 3 times on the spin cycle to get the clothes not to be dripping. It is 19 years old and just now started doing this.

it may be your agitator. 1
Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.
Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reseat the agitator.
Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.
Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.
Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.
Check for any black substance leaking under the washing machine. This might indicate a clutch problem, if the washing machine spinner is not working. Contact a professional repairman to replace the clutch.

Water dripping 1/2 thru wash cycle

I'm just guessing here, but if those spots you mentioned are heater supports and the heaters come on during cycle # 6, then the heat may be deforming the seals so that they leak. It would appear that the fix is to replace those seals, but I would try to build up the outer area with silicon glue (clean the area with rubbing alcohol or acetone first) to see if it would hold the water first. It could be a fairly extensive process to replace the seals (if you can still buy them!). Hope this helps some!

Fisher Paykel gwl11 washer leaking and squealing

Set the machine on its side and started taking it apart til the problem was obvious. Called Fisher for the parts. A big black seal is out and a bearing above the impellor that cools the motor, we ordered a pump assembly that is on the bottom side of the motor. I am still going to replace the water pump in the drain side, that is a no brainer. Will update on the repair when the parts arrive

GWL-11 Fisher Paykel wont turn on and water on the floor

if you are sure the power outlet is ok then it can only be the lead or the electronics in the machine, if it has no life at all it can be a fuse on the main module but you need tobe qualified to play with those parts and it is not something that you can just pull out as they are soldered in in most cases

Bosh Washing Machine leak

No, I have not fixed it. I can see the water dripping off what appears to be electric motor plates hanging low on the bottom of the washer.
It does seem to leak most right after I have used the machine.
The drip is not getting worse and appears to be about the same.
