you need to check the cable connected to the printer. if you are using the USB cable make sure it meets the standard recommened by the manufacturers usually it will be USB V2.0 but if still the same problem try to change the cable and also do try to remove the driver from the system and restart the computer. DO NOT CONNECT THE PRINTER YET re install the CD provided and when the software asks you to connect the printer connect it. This should solve the problem.

Follow this steps..
We need to focus on the printer itself and make sure that it will work before connecting to your computer.
Reset the all-in-one printer
Take out all the papers on the printer.
Completely shutdown the computer.
Without turning off the printer, unplug the power cable at the back of the printer
Unplug the USB cable at the back of the printer.
While the printer is off and unplug, on the printer press the # and 3 at the same time.
Wait for 1min.
Keep on pressing the # and 3, then plug the power cable back in.
The printer should be on automatically, if not turn on the printer using the on/off button while pressing the # and 3 and you should have a message that says "NVM" reset.
It will do some initialization, then if the printer is asking to load the paper.
Re-arrange the paper, then load it to the printer.
Try making some test w/ the printer (try to make a copy on the printer)
If you can now make a copy, It means the printer is now working.
Plug the USB cable back in to the printer and computer.
If you are having issues printing from the computer, download the HP's print diagnostic utility.
Try to remove all sheets of paper. Then unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the other end of the power cord attached to the power outlet in the wall. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back the power adapter in the printer. When the printer's ready, load some papers and check if it's working fine now. Keep me posted by leaving a comment. Thanks.
what i might do is to remove that application using control panel, add and remove software. uninstall the printer software disconnect printer from pc, reboot/restart, go to printers in control panel remove all printers listed, then make sure you have right software for your printer. shut down this time.reconnect printer cable and boot back up. reinstall the soft ware with printer on.
It sounds that the sensor that responsible in detecting papers to be feed in the printer is malfunctioning. I can suggest some work around if this thing won't work then you need to send your printer to service. Please check for any obstruction inside the printer like paper, plastic, tapes. Turn on and turn off the printer and make sure that you load the paper correctly. If the issue still present then its a hardware failure. If your printer is under warranty I suggest to call your printer's manufacturer and have them replaced or if you think buying new printer is more cost effective then buy new printer.
Try first unplugging PC power cable for 5 mins. Unplug Dymo usb. Plug everything back and restart.
If it does not work, then do the following.
Uninstall the printer completely, also remove all Dymo printer software. Then restart the pc and re install all sofware and drivers. Start installation with Dymo disconnected.

Try deleting any previous drivers installed, unplug the printer USB from the computer. Restart the computer run the driver CD leave the printer unplugged then when the cd asks for the printer, power it on and connect it to the computer let it install automatically see if that helps good luck.
