You should buy a USB mouse. Then you can connect it to any USB port in your computer. The USB ports can be located on the the right side or on the left side of your laptop and you can have one or more in the rearside of your computer also. They can be isolated our they can be in pairs. The exact location varies from computer to computer, depending on its make, model and configuration (I saw an image of yor computer model, that showed two USB port in the right side of the laptop to the front). Most laptops have at least 3. You shouldn't have any problem finding the USB ports or connecting the mouse. Just buy the mouse and then look for a socket that fits its USB rectangular plug. Note that the plug fits only one way, so you might have to turn it around 180? in order for it to fit.
I have found a picture of the back of your computer. Please see below. The picture is a little small im sorry.
A bluetooth dongle connects over the USB port in your computer, while you have some slots in the back you should have some in the front as well. They look like this:
Some things to check for when your player does not act like its taking a charge.
USB Cable Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged in and use the original cable that came with your player.
Computer in Hibernation mode Make sure the computer isn't entering hibernation or sleep mode while the device is connected. The computer must be ON in order to charge your player.
USB Port 2.0 Make sure the player is connected to a USB 2.0 port (1.1 occasionally causes charging problems).
USB Port location Try plugging into different USB ports (i.e. USB port in the back of the computer); occasionally the front USB ports have limited power to charge up the device.
Battery Make sure the battery is fully charged. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
Latest firmware Depending on what player you have, make sure it's up to date with the latest firmware.
AC charger (optional) AC chargers (sold separately) have a 500-1000 milliamp max output, which provides much better charging ability than a USB port.
Hello,
You can check if your USB controller is enabled. You can it by right-clicking on My Computer, and then click Manage. Click Device Manager, and then locate USB controllers. Try to right click on the device and check if it is enabled.
If you only have one USB connector then you can purchase an USB hub which may have 4 or more ports (I suggest you get a powered USB hub). Then plug the hub into the computer's USB port and you now have several USB ports.
Unless the PC has a memory card reader it will NOT have one.(Usually in the slot where the floppy drive would fit) If so you are best advised to buy and external card reader.
