Please follow the proper instructions given below to successfully pair your Nokia E63 with the Nokia BH-213 Bluetooth Headset.
1.Ensure that your phone is ON and headset is OFF. 2.Press and hold the multifunction key (for about 5 seconds) until the green indicator light starts to flash quickly. 3.Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone, and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. 4.Select the headset from the list of found devices. 5.Enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your phone. In some phones, you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. 6.When the headset is connected to your phone and is ready for use,the green indicator light flashes slowly.
However if you are having problem with the Bluetooth connectivity of your phone the most probable cause may be a malware attack. It can be solved by cleaning your phone memory by entering *#7370# on your phone and restoring the default settings when prompted.Make sure you back up your contacts to the memory card or copy it to the SIM directory.
Hope you are satisfied with my solution. Thanks for choosing Fixya.
Ok.. you need to do the following:
1. Turn the headset off.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth on your iPhone (it will automatically start searching for Bluetooth devices)
3. Press and keep pressing the power button on your BH-105 Nokia Headset until you hear two sounds, the first is the one that notify's you that the Headset is turned on, keep pressing and you will hear another sound (like a beep), once you hear that second sound release the power button on the headset and voilaaa... your iPhone detected the Headset... Cheers...
I also experienced the same problem. After trial and error I realized that the bluetooth device needs to be reset to fix this issue. You may reset the bluetooth device by deleting the pairings from the headset or reseting the headset. Switch off the headset, and press and hold the multifunction key for over 8 seconds. Start pairing the device again. It should work fine now with default passkey 0000
