Question about Xirlink Promax Webcam

Webcam my web cam is saying that it is in use by quickcapture how do i resolve this problem

And then click on Download Now (3.5MB)

  1. Install Splitcam saying yes to everything during installation including the any warnings.

    2. Then run the Splitcam program by double clicking the downloaded program.

    3. Clicked on "Video" at the bottom right of the program window and selected your cmera.

Note: This will result in your camera being switched on and viewable in the
SplitCam program.

4. Opened up Skype (or other messengers) and go to "Tools" then "Options" then "Video settings."

5. Also setup your “Audio” while you are there.

6. Selected "SplitCam Capture" as my webcam, then click on save.

7. Webcam image will appeared in Skype or what ever messenger you are using.

When trying to put on my web cam it say the appdata network not fouund


You need to reinstall your webcam driver. So please uninstall first and take a reboot and then reinstall the software or driver and then attach the webcam. Sure, your problem will be resolve.

Everyting works but everytime i try to web cam my laptop says thiers no web can installed or found yet it bings the web cam in the laptop and i realy dont know if its the program erased or anything


i have answered this before.

Check this solution. Click here

You need to reinstall the webcam software. that is provided to you by acer.

Go to Add and remove programs/ Program and features and then select the webcam software and then remove it.

After removing that. restart the computer and then Reinstall the webcam software from the cd that acer gave you.

This will resolve the problem

Just connected a Philips webcam (SPC230NC) to work with skype, but the computer keeps rebooting when I try to use skype.


Please remove and reinstall the Skyp. If the issue not resolved please remove the web cam and open the skyp. Try tp reinstall the web cam driver.

Webcam says not connected


i had the same issue with my webcam from logitech if i remember correctly, you'd need to update the drivers first. i would also try uninstalling yahoo and reinstalling it. i know that worked for me

However, if you can not resolve then it is good to reply this message with the model of your webcam. the model it helps resolving the issues.
