I recently upgraded to VISTA and no the DVD's I burn can only be played on this DVD burner or another burner, but not in the DVD Rom or other DVD player. I used to be able to play them on any player.

- I am using DVDNext copy to burn the disc so they should be video.

It may be how you are burning these discs, if you burn it as a data disc you will only be able to read them with a computer dvd drive, if burnt as video it should work on any dvd drive.
