My phone keeps turning off even when i'm not

When you have a sim in the phone, it could inserted the wrong way around, be defect, or could have dirty or oxidised contacts.
Try to eliminate all causes, and if you are sure the sim is defect just goto your provider with the phone and let them insert a new sim and put your number on that side.

The person who unlocked your phone must have done it incorrectly and this must have damaged your firmware.

You need to take it to an authorized service center where it will be fixed, by replacing the firmware.

Activation has to be performed by the seller/agent initiator in order for the cell phone signalling system to even recognize that your phone exists.
