I just bought a 20" widescreen monitor for Christmas from my local Office Max. No manual inside the box so I have NO Idea what all the litle buttons on the menu are for! Also...this thing DOES have a built in speaker, doens't it? No sound.... Everything is plugged in correctly, I'm using it. No plug in's not being used except for the spare USB on the monitor bottom??? Help~!
How is ur sound output from the computer box is conencted....is there an external speaker thru which u listen sound ?
if so that cable from the sound output slot on the PC need to shift to the monitor speakers thru some cable that goes into the monitor from the CPU box....

you need to plug a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack audio lead between the pc and monitor to get sound, the reason it doesnt come with a sound driver is because you dont need one for the monitor
It is definetly a widescreen the issue is either with your display card or your resolution setting you need to check both. If you would have told me wether your display is through mother board or scsi card the model of mother board or the display card then i could fix the issue easilly.
