Hp zt1260 no display

I have a hp zt 1200, that i bought that the screen was broke, i replaced the screen from another unit and now there is no picture, i faintly see Hp when it starts, but when i hook it up to an external monitor, it loads into dos, and i see white or gray lines running up and down, i made sure i hooked everything up like i took it apart, just not sure if it's the inverter, or possible motherboard issue

My friend, I hate to say this however you told me that this was happening after your screen was broke. You have to replace it with a new monitor since it was damaged. That's the best solution we can do.

Hello there!

Unfortunately,Dota 2 was only available to Windows and Ubuntu. You should try redownloading it,since it's now out for Linux(Your OS).If that doesn't work, you might aswell be updating your graphics driver from

does the power supply you bought have a pci express power connector on it to allow the card to receive the correct voltage requirements, as that card is compatible with your system

My latitude D620 screen display is split in two sections help

This is not clear enough either you set up dual screen mode or your screen broke and displaying a line across the screen which most likely either bad cable connection or something broken. If it is a dual screen mode than you have to right click on desk top and go to properties and modify it to single screen.

Hi:
I believe that your LCD panel is the problem, but you should verify that you have good video, by toggling to an external monitor to check your output. If it dispays good, you have an LCD problem.

Make sure in the control panel under power options you change the settings so the screen doesn't go into sleep mode and make sure the display doesn't turn of. Do this by changing the times to never.

Display driver problem

This is a common sign of a driver conflict error. It usually happens when two or more drivers are requesting the same resources, or if the diver has become corrupted or if the driver was just plainly poorly written.

Below is a link to HP/Compaq's Driver update page for your computer.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3644737&lang=en

The driver you want in particular is the Graphics driver (The 2nd on the list) Though you may want to update all that are not up to date(This would Lessen the likelyhood of future conflicts)

Another possible soultion might be to upgrade away from integrated graphics.

Hope this helps,
Dave

Try restarting the pc in safe mode by tapping the F8 key while re-booting the computer. If the lines are gone it is the display driver.

You can get the correct drivers HERE from HP for your Laptop
