First i guess its possiable, but havent heard of any one else getting one. well i dont know what kind of problems you having (next time go into more detail about the problems you are having) With that said the only thing i can advise is reformatting your memory stick(if you have one) and reformatting the psp built in memory. And yes you will loose all saved data....sorry, but this is the only thing i can advise with the information given

You might have virus protection installed on your PC, and it'll block your memory stick of psp when your MS infected by virus/trojan.. You may access your ms using card-reader or consider to re-format your MS within PSP to refresh partition..
I believe you have bricked your PSP, and I am investigating recovery from Brick. Currently I am finding possible recovery on You tube. This sounds like a Trojan virus you downloaded. Did the screen say Hello World right before it died. If so, you got the trojan virus and it bricked your PSP. If you have the receipt, send it to Sony. You can call them, but it is always busy at 1800 345 7669, and if you cant get in by phone, go to www.playstation.com to contact them.
