Question about Sony KP-65WS500 65" Rear Projection Television
The color is very red, and the color flickers and changes. Also, the set starts flashing green and then shuts off. I called a few repair places and they said I would need to replace all 3 tubes at great cost, is that the case? Thanks.
My tv screen turns red as it heats up and the repairshop told me it would cost $600.00 for a new red projection gun how ever I don't think thats the case because it is a heat related issue. I think an ic or transistor is going bad and goes into saturation when it gots warm. I will be spraing some components with freeze spray and if my hunch is correct the color will temporarly correct its self when I spray the right component.
