Wrong region (by 2 users)

This has been working normally until our small daughter pressed lots of buttons. When we try to play a DVD now, it comes up with WRONG REGION on the screen and will not play anything.

I have the same problem and have tried altering the TV settings from PAL to NTSC and back again but there is no difference. I still get wrong region coming up. Can you let me know what the more in depth solution to this is please? Thanks JP.

Hey there, colchester. It appears your daughter, (Blessed be her little angel hands), may have managed to change the setting for TV type from NTSC to PAL, or vice versa. Try entering setup, and using the left arrow, or right arrow, move across the icons on the top of the screen, until you find the box on a plate "TV Type". From here change the type to the other alternate, and you are good to go.. If you still have a problem there is a more in-depth approach if required. Let me know. Good Luck!
