Question about HP iPAQ H3955 Pocket PC
I purchased a used Ipaq 3955 that had a dead battery. I installed Active Sync on my PC and when the PDA was in it's cradle, I was able to "explore" and view all the files stored on the PDA. I then decided to download a few new games to the PDA and after I turned off the PDA and removed it from the cradle, I realized that all the files I had stored had been deleted due to lack of a battery. So I purchased a new battery and changed it. Now the new battery is charged and when the PDA is connected to the PC via the cradle, Active Sync on both the PDA and the PC state that the two are "connected" but the error message reads that the PC cannot verify the version of Active Sync on the PDA. When I click on 'explore' within Active Sync, the folder shows NO files. The PC is unable to read the PDA now, eventhough the Active Sync program says they are connected. I made sure there was nothing being blocked by a firewall and I also checked to make sure that both the PC and the PDA were set up to connect via the USB ports. I have tried multiple different USB ports. Still nothing happens. Help??
Did you tried installing the ActivSync again, for Windows XP the version is 4.5, for Windows Vista is 6.0, Try installing the AS
