Problem with Toshiba 46XV645 46 in. LCD HDTV
I'm attempting to program a Toshiba remote (model # CT-90302) for a Toshiba 46XV645U LCD TV. I need the remote control code for a Toshiba BDX2000KU Blu-ray player. None of the Toshiba remote control codes in the owner's manual work.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I can't speak specifically to your TV, but the problem could be at the I/R (infra-red) sensor at the console. Since our TV sets on a stand (vice being mounted), people like to put things down near the TV and occaisionally obstruct the sensor. If that's the case, it's the easiest fix you'll ever have.
You can test your remote by aiming it at a video camera and pressing a function (channel or volume, up or down) on the remote. The video camera should detect the I/R pulses, and the video display will reveal "light" at the front end of the remote.
