Question about Maytag MDB7100AWB Dishwasher
Came on suddenly. Loud grinding, vibration near the end of drain cycle.I am guessing that something is caught in disposal blades. I have disassembled plastic parts down to round black plastic pump wheel on motor shaft. This seems so tight that I thought maybe it has reverse thread on it. Let me know, I don't want to break anything. Thanks.
On some othersites it was said that the plate on the discharge impeller came loose and was banging on the black metal impeller. When I took mine apart that what mine looked like. I glued mine back with J B WELD, and there is still some noise during rinse. One person said he took it out and the noise went away. The part came be bought for about $15.00 online. Are there any torque specs for these screws?

Have disassembled mine 3 times now... no the bolt attaching the black wheel is not reverse threaded. Just need to have a good grip on the wheel itself and you should be able to back the bolt out.
