Question about Maytag 24 in. MDB5600A Jetclean II Built-in Dishwasher
I saw on another forum that these may leak if the assembler forgot to use teflon tape or silicone sealant where the pump assembly attaches. The repair is apparently not very difficult.

The rubber connector above the pump is a common leak point. The rubber sump behind the pump will leak often as well. If it's leaking between the pump and the motor you can replace the seal.
