Volume Control erratic. Doesn't stop when you press the up arrow until it reaches its highest. Same with the Down arrow-keeps going until is in not audible

I used compressed air to blow out the spaces around the buttons and now it works like it is supposed to.

sounds like you need to take it in to have it looked at. no simple fix unless you are an appliance technician. hard to walk a beginner through. i suggest calling an stereo repair guy.

How do I turn off the ringer to my vtech, model6032 telephone.

Ring volume

The handset ringer volume can be adjusted from five levels.

• Press MENU/SELECT to display menu when in idle mode.

• Press up arrow or down arrow to reach Setup HS. Press MENU/SELECT.

• Press up arrow or down arrow to reach Ring volume . Press MENU/SELECT.

• Press up arrow or down arrow to scroll through the choices and a sample of each ring

volume will be played. Press MENU/SELECT to confirm.

• The screen displays Stored and you'll hear a confirmation beep.

You can adjust the ringer volume by pressing VO L+/VOL- on the
telephone base when the telephone is ringing.

How do I reset ringer to "on" if it is set on "off"

Hello

Press "Prog" on the handset.

Press the arrow button beneath the phone's display until you reach "Ringer," then press "Select."

Press the arrow button until you reach "Ringer On," then press "OK." The phone should beep to confirm your selection.

Method Two

How do i increase the volume of my nokia 5130??

I have the cheapest Nokia phone. And the way I got the volume up very hight was as some have already said, while you are in a call, press the left scroll arrow, then you will see on the screen the volume level gauge. Mine was at the lowest level. Then I pressed the right arrow button and kept pressing it until I got it to the highest level. Remember it is the left and right arrow buttons, not the up and down ones! Hope this helps.

Can one switch off the 'bleep' on the Fuji AX280? Manual is less than helpful!

1. Press central "Menu/OK" button.
2. Press LEFT arrow (the one with the flower/close-up icon).
3. Press DOWN arrow (display reads "SET")
4. Press RIGHT arrow.
5. Press UP arrow until you reach "OPERATION VOLUME".
6. Select preferred loudness level.

Can you turn the beep noise off on the keys?

Yes. Press "Data Registration" then "Set" then "Set" .Now arrow down until you see Volume Control. Arrow down until you see Keypad Volume. Make that number "0" and press "Set". Press "Stop" button to escape to normal operation mode. Hope this helps.

Have Lexmark X9350 All in one - Need to block incoming junk faxes

If you have Caller ID, you can block faxes sent from specific numbers and/or all faxes which do not include a Caller ID number.

To turn on the Block List feature:
  1. From the control panel, press up arrow or down arrow repeatedly until Fax is highlighted.
  2. Press select (checkmark).
  3. Press up arrow or down arrow repeatedly until the Fax Setup submenu is highlighted.
  4. Press select (checkmark).
  5. Press up arrow or down arrow repeatedly until the Fax Blocking submenu is highlighted.
  6. Press select (checkmark).
  7. Press up arrow or down arrow repeatedly until you reach the Block List menu item.
  8. Press left arrow or right arrow repeatedly until On appears.
  9. Press left curved arrow to save and exit.

To add each fax number you want to block:
