Along side of where the door closes, is the plastic trim between the carpet and door jamb . Unscrew this piece of trim, a wiring harness runs along it, as well as the seat belt module under the seat wiring. What I found was one of the screws rub the harness and shorted out the system. Repaired the wires ALL GOOD!
Hello, Have you checked the switches for the interior lites in the door pillers? Maybe one of them is rusted (in the open position) & keeps the circuit live.Next check for chaffing or short in same switches.(It might help to lube with some graphfite spray).Try checking the dome lite next. Look for rust or chaffing in there. If you have power windows, you will have to remove the interior door liner(s) & check(test)window motors.(one of them maybe live all of the time).Lastly, check switches for the power windows in the door as well as wiring to the mirrors.I think you can cross the radio off the list as a problem unless it was updated or replaced with an after factory installation.
