Question about Televison & Video
This proberly won't be much help but it sounds like the tv is trying to start and shutting back down due to a short circuit possibly in the secondary power supply or on another internal panel but it is hard to say where, has this suddenly happend or has it got worse over a period of time,if it has got worse and longer to switch on over a pereod of time then it is most likely to be a capacitor related problem and will need to be repaired by an engineer but be carefull as some engineers prefer to replace a suspect panel rather than working at componant level, and panels can be expensive.
