Question about Televison & Video
This dvd player was playing fine until it was last used,it has not been used much (2 years old). It has recently stopped responding to the re-mote (new batteries) and manual buttons. There is power to the machine(red light on the dash),i have removed a disc from the inside of the player and reasembled but no change. Any advice much appreciated. I have a Bush DVD2080divx that's only a year old. It was working fine until recently. The power is on (the display reads -OFF-) but the player doesn't respond to the remote or the buttons on the actual player. I've changed the batteries, tried turning off the power, I've checked all the cales are properly attached but nothing works. I'm not very tekkie so I haven't even try to take anything apart. Any help, please? Desperate.
I contacted Bush custimer care and this is the reply I got:
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We would request you to kindly reset the remote control by following the steps mentioned below:
1. Remove the batteries and reinsert the batteries after 1 minute.
2. Press and hold the top, right and the bottom navigation button on the
remote control along with the number 1 button (as in 123) for 10sec.
It didn't work for me, but I have posted it on here, just in case it works from someone else
