Question about Televison & Video
Bush LCD17TV002 Remote RM-L1703
I have tried every code I can find on the web. Sky can't even help, so I guess it must be something wrong with the T.V. The original remote works well, but the power button is on the blink so I need to replace it. Any ideas, Roger
Hi Roger, rather than paying out for a universal try repairing your own remote first by taking it apart and where the power button is clean it with a damp cloth and also clean the circuit board where the power button is,this sometimes cures the fault, but if the rubber power button itself is worn on the pad side(contact side) another good trick is to put a drop of super glue on the button and quickly attach a small piece of tin foil(same size as the single pad) to the rubber button(underside of course) this almost always works, failing that a universal could be your best bet but try to get an upgradable one.

If you have purchased This Tv Bush LC39GL12F from Argos, there is not a code available and Argos do not forsee a code being available in the near future.
I was advised to call Argos Customer service on 0845 6403030 to log a complaint as to no code and eventually a code maybe made available..
NO Good Ringing Argos Tech support, Ring 0845 6403030 Argos Customer Service.

Please note: In order to operate both your TV and Sky+ with your Sky+ remote control, you will be required to switch modes e.g. to switch on your TV from stand-by, you would need to press "TV" followed by the "Stand-by" button. Then to change channel on your Sky+ you would need to press the "Sky" button followed by the "TV guide" button
