    Hi there

I have the same problem. My phone memory is full. I am unable to add new contact numbers even though there is still space on my SIM card. Sorry to be so dim, but how do you free up phone memory space. I tried deleting and editing to new numbers the pre-installed numbers e.g. Customer care, Directories, etc. It changes to new numbers for a while but reverts back to the original numbers. How do you delete the pre-installed images, ring tones, etc. Please can you help. Many thanks.

Hi alot of people have been having this problem but the only way of getting more memory is to delete something off the phone like sent messages any phone numbers that you dont need or use you need to go through your phone and check everything and see what you dont need and delete.
Like if when you send a message your phone might store it so have a look and delete if their is any also the best way freeing up memory i found was to delete most of the ringtones that came with the phone as i found that i didnt use any of the free ones and i only used the ones i put on their. their is loads you can delete and doing this will free up loads of memory let me know if you need further assistance.
Just remember everything that is saved on the phone is taking up memory so delete everything you dont use and this will free up loads of memory.

To organize your messages, you can move some of them to the Saved items folder, or add new folders for your
messages. While reading a message, select Options.
To add or delete a folder, select Menu > Messages > Saved items > Text messages, and My folders. To delete a
folder, scroll to the folder, select Options > Delete folder.

Let me know if this helps

There is nothing you can do for this. If possible bang your head 100 times on the wall so that samsung people will pity you and think again whether they are kings of the world or not.

I'm using Nokia3110, plz tell me how can i move msgs from phone to memory card?

Go to msgs where you see all the folders like new msg, inbox, out box, sent box etc. select Settings. Select options, others and store in select phone memory. My headings may not be exactly the same as you may have in your phone but as long as you get the idea all is well.

How do i transfer text msgs from sim memory to phone memory?

You can do it this way "
go to Message-> options-> SIM Messages(this will open the sim msgs)-> select the one you wish to copy-> options-> Copy (select inbox & press OK)".

The message shall now be copied to your Inbox ie phone memory.

Inbox deleted

Well, first-of-all the "E" sign that u r gettin on the left corner of ur display is an indication that ur network and mobile both supports "EDGE" technology that is faster than "GPRS" when it comes to data transfer speeds.

Secondly, Abt ur inbox messages being deleted. It seems as if the normal message delete time limit must have been set to 1 month or so.... .That is why after the specified period those old messages got deleted.U can change the settings of ur INBOX in the MESSAGE menu itself and set it to unlimited.
