Don't know what you are talking about. There is nothing in any of the set up or other programs in the 5000 that refer or relate to your suggestion. There likewise is nothing in the 5000 manual referring to your sugested fix.

Maybe the system has reached the maximum channel capacity and it repeats some channel to have all the incoming signals... Have you tried re-channeling the system.. this will arrange and sort out the numbers...

Good luck... Fixya.

I have 2 good qaulity heybrook speakers and have tried everything to connect them properly such that both play sound when the tv / dvd is on. Both speakers work perfectly one at a time and both work...

You're guessing. That is exactly the wrong thing to do. Get the manual.

"[D]vd 6 channel input" is for a 6-channel analog input as the name implies. I doubt you even have a source that HAS 6 analog channel outputs.

Speakers are OUTPUTS of the amplifers' speaker posts. Any one can work ANYwhere.

And that bi-wire capability, IF the speakers have it - pretend it isn't there.

The tv is showing a double image and I cannot get the color right! Model number 50v500

Hello,
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} You need to upgrade to the high definition cable box---but first try this. Hook the cable from the wall directly to the tv and autoprogram it. If Comcast is anything like charter they transmit the local Hd channels in a format that digital tuner will pick them up. Just channel up/down and check out the channels with -1 and -2's behind them. Depending on where you are----your local channels will usually show up wherever they normally do but with a -1 behind it.

EX: local Fox channel on 47---autoprogram and check 47-1

If this is enough HD for you then get a two way spitter and hook your box back up and keep using the RCA (composite) cables for the best it can produce.

hope this will help..

Vizio lcd retained channel info from former location

You will have to let the TV autoscan or autoprogram for channels again to fix this issue.

Same thing... suddenly will not "allow" one channel to be seen

go to tv menu, do an "autoprogram" and it will select all available channels.
You can also do an add/remove channel and manually delete the channels you know you don't have.
You can also change your tv from air to CATV (cable) On cable tv you can still get all the air channels and Fox just the numbers will be different, but you may have a better signal

Figuring out the TV channels for Comcast using the Sharp remote

Unfortunately there is no listing. I suggest taking a little time to sit next to the television with an notepad to go through each channel one at a time to label what stations come in on what channel numbers. Sorry.

Half way through a replay picture froze and would not recover. Then all channels vanished. Will not tune any digital channels now. Substituting a Freeview box onto same antenna cable tuned fine so there is...

left the unit fo 24 hours, reconnected it just as before and did a channel search (scan). Up came all available channels, recorder also appears to be fine. I am utterly mystified as to how a genuine fault condition one day (triple-checked for sanity) can fix itself. Fix double-checked to ensure AOK. Crazy.

Ram can works dual channel

you need to make sure your ram is identical.....for example if you have one single/sided and one double sided but are both equal in capacity still may not work.......also you could be using wrong memory slots double check your motherboard manual and ensure you are using correct memory slots for dual channel operation...however memory pair mismatch is most likely your culprit
