Washer shakes violently and loudly during spin cycles

Just ran my washer for the first time and it shook so badly loudly and violently it turned sideways and cracked the lightplate on the wall. It was just horrific. Did the person ( A DELIVERY COMPANY) not put somthing on it that should have been? Or did I just get a bad on, as of right now it's going back if I can't find somthing out. My set is up on pedastals.

Thanks, this is what we figured...after looking further, my husband ,who was at work at the time it was delivered found out they were not secured in the back nor was it level and to top it off they were on the wrong bases!!! All leading to a damaged laundry room and the paint being scratched very bad. The set is going back to the BX in the morning, thank you!

We had the same issue. however, it was solved by removing for big screws from the back of the machine. if you look you'll see 4 screws with yellow covers that need to be removed. this solved the issue instantly.

There is a yellow tag on the back that indicates what bolts, spacers, and P clamp on the power cord that you need to remove. This information was not in the installation manual. They need to put tags on each bolt indicating REMOVE ME - the yellow tag looked like a utility tag on a gas meter that your not suppose to remove.
Dryer slightly dented and wall scraped due to violent episodes. My roomate and I had to wrestle the dryer during the spin cycle even on low.
lesson learned.

First time I ran the electrolux washer, it bounced around during the spin cycle and gashed a hole in my wall. We can't run it without it bouncing violently. When it is not running, all four corners are...

Sounds like it could be a few things. the tub sits on shocks attached to the bottom of the machine. If one of those are broken when it goes into high speed spin ght thing will bounce around violently. Also the tub hands on springs from the top. Its uncommon but one of those could have broken or let go. The cabinet will not move but the internal components can be destroyed by it.

The drum shakes violently and is very loud during spin cycle

There are 2 shock absorbers/springs attached to the drum. If one of them breaks it will cause a loud banging noise when you wash heavy loads. This is an easy fix. The part is about $22.00 and it is accessed throught the front bottom panel.

It shakes so violently, it knocked 2 holes in the wall. During the spin cycle, it also turned completely around backwards!! It's so loud it practically shakes the whole house.

take bottom panel off, check the shocks,if it is making loud noise it's probably spider gear,if you keep using it the boot could rip off and you'll have a flood, get rid of washer it will cost as much to fix washer that you could buy a new one but that's up to you to decide

ON SPIN CYCLE MY FRONT LOAD WASHER SHAKES VIOLENTLY

I have a four year old Andi front loading machine, and just in the last week it has started to move violently during the spin cycle and move across the room.
The last time, the movement was so severe that the machine was cutting itself off and then trying to spin again.
I couldn't control the machine and I just had to turn it off at the wall.

Whirlpool washer LSQ9549LW makes one loud, violent clunk ea. spin

great analogy, sounds as if you have broken/stripped the tub block( its waht secures the inner tub to the outer tub) part number 389140, if you removethe agitator( a 7/16" bolt down the center of agitator) there is one more lock ring that isactually tightened down across the top of said "tub block"( usually need a specialty spanner wrench to remove, but have done it with a pipe wrench) after removing that lock nut the inner tub will release and the new tub block can be installed...

Washer shakes violently

The drum mounts to a spindle on the back. On these units, it is common for the tripod mounts for this particular design to crack and break. On every call I have had for a terrible vibration on these models, this has been the problem. The remedy is to replace the front and rear tub, as well as the basket. It is also recommended that you replace the drain pump at the same time. Most of this should be covered under at least a parts warranty.

Shook Violently first time on spin cycle

Make sure the washer is leveled properly and all four feet are resting on the floor. If it is level, try running one cysle without any clothes in it to see it is spins without that violent shaking.. you may have also had an out of balance load.. Hope that helps!

Samsung Front Loader Washer Out of Control

make sure you take out the 4 srews in the back of the washer .
This is only to hold the drum in place when it is transported to you

Remove them and you should not have a problem.

This info is only for front loaded wahers and not dryers or top loaded washers

one or two of your dampners are either lose or broken.

Bad shacking during the spin cycle

Remove top of machine and check the centralising springs are still attatched. If springs ok tilt machine against the wall after unplugging from the wall socket and check the shock absorbers. One of them could have jumped out of the guides. If shockies are ok, check the spider for cracks/breaks. The spider is the cast part that holds the outside drum in place. To check this you will have to remove the back plate.
