I have no idea what else to do. There is no jammed paper anywhere, but when I press OK it shows the same error over and over. I have also turned it off, unplugged it, hit it, wiggled it...but to no avail. I need an expert.

Sometimes on this printer (especially when using the paper feed slot at the back of the printer, as opposed to the cassette underneath) the paper will jam at the bottom of the paper path, where it is not easily seen nor apparent. you have to unplug and literally turn the printer upside down to get to it.
Tried turning the printer upside down and shaking it about. Unfortunately no difference here. :(
Same thing. No paper jam anywhere while it insists that there is. Tried turning it off and on. Pressing the reset button.
Finally, after reading one of your posts I tried the turn it upside down thing....there was nothing under there but I lifted some levers and poked around....when I turned it back on finally things were back to normal. Curious.
MP600 gives a persistent 'The paper is jammed' error. Tried all the usual non-technical things like power off and feeding a piece of card from the other side.
I've just started using compatible cartridges rather than the originals. May be that has something to do with it?
I know a bit of torn paper is in there but apart from squashing my fingers how do you get it out? I cannot find a way of getting to it. So of course I am getting the same message.
I have a paper jam, but can't get to the paper ( a full sheet). I tried manually turning the rollers, too, but it won't budge. I there a way to remove parts to get to the paper? DK from Nashville, IN
